What A great Place

What a great place Mackenzie 25 is. The house is in a really good location, making getting around the island easy. The house was spotlessly clean and had comfy beds. Louise was very easy to commuincate with (even when she was away herself). The view down onto Gress beach is beautiful. Some good bird watching and we even saw a whale off the coast at Tolsta! We enjoyed the house so much we have already booked to come back, says it all really.

Definitely stay here!

The property was absolutely amazing! It had everything we needed with plenty of space. Louise was a joy to interact with, super helpful and very responsive. This property was also one of the absolute cleanest places we’ve ever stayed! Louise ensured that the freezer was on for us when mentioned and kitchen was well stocked/equipped. Really appreciated the basic food items that were left for us as well. For those with pets, huge enclosed garden which was very convenient. Would 100% stay here again!

Comfortable House in a Beautiful Setting

Our stay was wonderful. The house was extremely comfortable, and the location was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect as a base for exploring the island, and the host offered lovely touches with the helpful restaurant suggestions and provided grocery basics. We would absolutely stay here again if we return to the island.

Fabulous Stay

This has to be one of the best properties that we’ve stayed in, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack on arrival was appreciated, especially as we arrived on a Sunday where shops etc are closed. The property is in a great location with easy access to most areas of Lewis and beyond. Croft cottage

This is a really cosy wee hose to stay in with a lovely atmosphere. Well stocked kitchen if you want to cook - which we didn't , it was a holiday! Beds were comfortable and the house warm. We felt we could really relax in this house. Good communication with the host

Fantastic Stay!

We were thrilled with our stay at the Mackenzie 25! Louise was marvelous at communicating with us, and made our check in process effortless. She had kindly stocked our refrigerator with necessities, as well as some treats. The house was spotless, the bathroom linens were incredibly soft, the beds were comfortable, and the living room was cozy. …and the view down to the sea was beautiful! We had a mix of weather, both rainy and windy, as well as sunny and bright, and we enjoyed every minute. We hope to return to the Mackenzie 25 again in the future! Thank you, Louise!

Lewis short Break

Lovely location close to the beach. The information supplied could have been better - e.g. Shop close by - but no info of where. One of the bathrooms was a long way from the bedrooms - through the kitchen and lounge.We managed as we just stayed 3 nights however a longer stay would have been difficult . The garden was well fenced for our dog as beside a busy road.

Perfect stay

quick response everytime, everything you needed in the kitchen (spices, kitchen roll, garbage bags, a filled fridge by arrival!, ...) a lot of space in and outside the house, very clean, loved the view and the peaceful surrounding. Perfect stay :-) Thank you Louise!

Very enjoyable stay at this property and quite central.

On arrival this property was spotless, there was basic extras in fridge which was very much appreciated even a bottle of prosecco, Nice touch, I would definitely recommend this property, friendly communication with property manager, what more do you need.

This is a lovely, very well provisioned, cottage in a great situation. Cosy ( good heating system), Netflix at the press of a button, excellent WIFI, comfortable beds, good shower, a lovely home from home. Fully enclosed garden for our dogs, great walks from the door, handy local amenities.. Welcoming touches on arrival.

Very well catered for at this very comfortable place...food in fridge plenty fuel for the stove

Very good location for visiting all the important places of interest. Lovely beach 15 minutes walk..perfect for a wild swim. Great view from garden but cottage is located on main road ...fortunately not too busy. Owner very generous and thoughtful, leaving beach towels and toys, books, games and DVDs.

great wee cottage

spotlessly clean for our arrival, great arrival pack left for us, good location only 10 mins walk from great beach.(seals popped up one day to say hello).There is everything you could need in the cottage, we would certainly go back again
