"This was our second year staying at the Big Yellow Camp. Another wonderful week. The check in process was easy, the owners are always available and very helpful. The house has so much character, it feels like home. We enjoyed the space and were very comfortable with 12 adults and three kids age 6 months - 4 years old. You cannot beat the view and beach access! "

"The rental was very clean and comfortable and the grounds were very well kept. We enjoyed just relaxing in the back yard overlooking the lake. "

"We loved the location. It was so nice to be right on the beach and it is your own private beach. As a bonus there was a nice bucket of beach toys the kids really loved. The kitchen was well stocked with all the cooking supplies one would need. There are puzzles and games, mega blocks for little kids. The home is on a private road but if walking/running or bike riding you can easily access the bike path in Colchester. The house is definitely rustic, but we got that from the photos and expected it...

"The cottage was clean, comfortable and thoughtfully prepared. Plenty of kitchenware and appliances. I need my coffee, so the new coffee maker was great. We spent a lot of time down at the dock fishing, swimming, and kayaking.My wife, my 12 year old son, and I had a great time and we hope to visit again. If you go make sure to look at the night sky. I've never seen so many starts in my life."

"The Ham Fam Lakehouse was lovely, well appointed, comfortable, and the lake view was fabulous! We enjoyed the gas fireplace on chill mornings, and the sunset view in the evenings. The lake was easily accessible and we enjoyed walking the driftwood strewn beach. We had a few minor concerns the first days, but they were immediately addressed and remedied by the management team. Great job! We thoroughly enjoyed our eight-day stay! We would definitely return another time. "

"The house was clean and beautiful! It was very comfortable for my extended family to gather and plenty of room if someone wanted quiet time alone or to work. The beach, although somewhat rocky, was nice to sit w a beach chair and book and have your feet in the sand. Family enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboard. We made full uses of the beautiful firepit area for sunrises and evening smores. Very much enjoyed day trip to both local state parks W/ beaches-Point Au Roach & Cumberland. My sis and I...

"Clean home. Great view of the lake from the wrap-around deck. Wonderful protected cove for swimming, boating & kayaking. Nice large outdoor grill. A few dimmers on the overhead light fixtures would enhance the home nicely. Recommend highly !"
