"The cottage was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean, cozy and a perfect location with the dock. We were able to bring our boat, fish, and crab. It was incredibly relaxing! The neighbors were extremely nice and very helpful!"

"We are not strangers to the area, my wife having grown up in the area, but each time we stay on the Chesapeake we feel at home. The Hideaway is so nice that you don't want to go back your actual home! It is furnished as if it is a year-round residence, no cheap or mismatched furniture and appliances. "We had grandparents (75yr), parents (50yr), young adults and teenagers (17-21) and a dog. Everyone had something to do and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. "This was one of the most beautiful spots I've seen. Kayaking was wonderful! Couch was very uncomfortable. And many maybe put off to find they must put everything in a box to keep away from rodents. And I just took my garbage home as we didn't have time to dump at an off site location on vacation. I would still book again as it was the most peaceful, charming and secluded place to truly relax!"

"It was only one bedroom since I travel with my daughter and out dogs , small bathroom the toilet did not flush properly it’s had to flush a few times! The bathroom floor was not done properly and flaking paint by the toilet "

All of the standard amenities were available in the house, as well as extras like board games, good coffee (k cups grounds!) and a small stool in the bathroom for the kids. "I had a wonderful stay at this cozy waterfront cottage. The listing was accurate, and the serene setting made for a relaxing getaway. The home was clean, well-equipped, and the views were stunning. We especially enjoyed watching the deer and fiddler crabs. Highly recommend for a peaceful retreat."
