"An outstanding property—we absolutely loved our stay. Michelle, Stefan (and Harvey) are exceptional hosts!! Our room, the James Cook Apartment, was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, and the grounds are simply stunning. The location is perfect, with an easy 15-minute walk to the main street. Breakfast was delicious and a real highlight. We can't wait to return!"

"My partner and I stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and the staff could not have been nicer!! They were so lovely from check in to check out making sure we had what we needed and providing that beautiful location for us to stay in. The decor in the house and our room in particular was stunning, rich and colourful. We would 100% recommend staying here as it’s only a 2 minute walk to the train station that takes you practically everywhere around Auckland!! Thank you Aachen House :))"

"Such a delightful property. Very helpful owner and managers who spent time familiarising us with the historical home and various tourist attractions. The bedroom was very large with lovely antique furniture, a comfortable bed and a nicely fitted out ensuite. We had access to the kitchen/ dining room and lounge rooms which were all well furnished and very comfortable and relaxing. Lovely garden to appreciate. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. The house is centered in town and an...
