"The staff were great - everyone. But the rooms tired and in need of maintenance. We were in a seaside block - VERY noisy - not much sleep. The wifi didn’t work - others we stayed at in the Cooks were fine. Mass market “tropical” brekky pretty bad."

Impossible to sleep because the bar is near by
"The location is perfect if you want to save the money for the taxi(20-30NZD)and rent a motobike. But the rooms are very close to the bar and the music is TOO LOUDand NOISY, they have all day happy hour, and the party finishes around 11.30 pm everyday,so if you want to take a rest, this hotel is the ..."
