Cute Cabin but we had a few little issues that may not be big to some, but would have helped the place feel more comfortable and home like.
-The shower curtain liner smelt terrible.
-The toilet paper was like sandpaper.
-The winter and thanksgiving decor was weird in August. Just made it not feel home like/comfy.
-The bunk beds and twin bed were so uncomfortable and had ripped matress covered on them.
-To watch tv in the master bedroom you had to change the channel in the living room. The cable box is only in the living room. So both tvs had to be on the same channel and it took us forever to figure out. We called the property manager for help and she only suggested resetting it.
-There was a dvd play, but no dvds. Do people travel with dvds now a days?
-EVERY home we have rented over the years has had a welcome binder. That included instructions (like for the tv), local places to see and eat, a must go to spot, etc. This place does not. We love trying new restaraunts and seeing new things, especially when reccomended by a local. I would suggest this place put one together. (The pizza place by the river was amazing! The Mexican place across the river from there was absolutly terrible-service was great, all 7 meals we got were terrible in taste.).
We did LOVE the covered patio and fire pit! We brought our own tree hammocks and hung them on the post on the patio. That was the highlight for our kids. It was great to relax in the eveings with the gorgeous view and to sip coffee in the mornings. Def bring your own hammocks!
It was an okay, clean place. I feel like a few little efforts and upgrades would make this place more comfrotable and home like for guests.
