Slice of Paradise

We had such a great time! Kevin was an excellent host and provided heaps of information upfront. The house is nicely laid out and can easily have more than the 4 adults that were in our family. The kitchen worked well for meals in and the rooms were nice - great to have multiple bathrooms! We loved the beach, it's shallow and the water is warm and beautiful, basically out the front door. Bonus was the expansive deck where we were able to have sun and shade plus watched the planet parade.Would definitely recommend!

Our stay

What a beautiful home! We needed nothing, everything you can think of was supplied. It has a wonderful outlook, close to the beach and plenty of wildlife. It was lovely and quiet for those peaceful afternoons on the deck. The hosts kept in contact to see that everything was ok. I would highly recommend this destination. Thank you Kevin

Escaping suburbia

We were able to disconnect from our daily habits, yet still enjoyed the delights of information technology. We were in the wilderness yet with all the creature comforts. A wonderful step off the daily grind and life hustle.

White Sands Island Beach Review

We enjoyed our stay at White Sands and liked the view. The facilities were good but feedback on a few things that could be improved: The dishwasher was small and didn't clean the dishes very well. The beds were not as versatile as we would like as most were queen and could not be separated. The BBQ was still quite dirty. We could not find the remote for the TV in the front games room and could not get the TV to work at all. It was quite cold at night and the blankets were a bit thin or not enough of them. But these were relatively minor issues as we enjoyed most things like the big deck, the cosy lounge area and dining area. Thanks for the stay.

White Sands at Easter

We were a family group with multiple adults and a 1 year old. The house was great, extremely well equipped. Our wonderful host Kevin provided a cot and high chair. The house is really good. The veranda in particular is wonderful with great views. We would love to stay there again. Kevin was a great host and could not have been more helpful.

Relax and unwind in superior accommodation

House very well equipped with aircon & fly screens at every window. Very spacious. The property title is slightly misleading as you cannot see the beach at all from the house and access to the beach is not easy as the track, although a boardwalk, is very narrow and somewhat overgrown with bushes. The beach was beautiful and we would have walked there more often if access had been easier.

Fantastic house and location

Had a great stay at Island Beach. The house was fantastic and had everything you could need. The deck was an outstanding feauture. Kevin was great to communicate with, highly recommended.

Very comfortable and close to beach

House has very comfortable rooms with 2 ensuites and one room with shower. Multiple living areas and great deck. We found the provision of beach equipment to be very handy as well. Very quiet and relaxing stay

Shhhhh don’t tell anyone else about this treasure!

Love this property. This was our second visit and even better (and longer!) than the first. Kevin was always easy to communicate with and very easy going. White Sands and Kangaroo Island in general is my happy place.

Great location and facilities.

Rental process was smooth. The property is well located and clean with ample room for all 8 of us. Nice hot water for cold weather. Great views to look at after a hard day touring. Excellent communication by owners at all times.

Pre Christmas KI family getaway!

A lovely well located, well maintained property only a short walk to the beautiful child friendly Island beach . Delightful and very spacious outdoor deck area., with separate games room .Great wifi and amenities. Would certainly stay here again! Thanks also to the owners who were extremely approachable and helpful.

Large comfortable home. Plenty of entertainment available. Bedrooms vary significantly in size and bathroom access. A little remote - but stunning beach nearby. Almost nightly visits from kangaroos.
