Was an amazing time with great friends at an house that was all that you could ask for. The views, the location, the house were great. Combined old Florida Charm with the conveniences of today. The host thought of everything. Will be returning.

So many wonderful things about this place! The host was very welcoming and went above and beyond providing information on the local area (places to eat, shop, fish etc) without even asking! The house was absolutely amazing and had everything we needed and more! We had a party of 8, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Our family of seven absolutely loved our stay at The Last Resort in Islamorada. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Each bedroom was spotless and felt like a high-end hotel, with towels and toiletries thoughtfully laid out on every bed. We’ve stayed in many VRBO homes, but none have ever been this well appointed for a full weeklong vacation.The bathrooms were fully stocked with plenty of towels, makeup towels, hair dryers, straighteners, curling irons, and spa-like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Everything felt upscale, intentional, and impeccably clean.The kitchen was better stocked than our own home—tons of pots, pans, utensils, quality knives, glasses, a coffee maker, and an espresso machine. With seven of us, the two washers and dryers were a huge bonus. There was also a utility room stocked with extra towels, lightbulbs, batteries, and supplies. I’ve never seen a rental so thoughtfully prepared.The location is unbeatable. The home sits about 30 feet from the ocean, and you step directly from the back deck onto the sand. Sandy beaches are rare in the Keys, and this felt like our own private beach. We relaxed in hammocks, played cornhole and spikeball, and enjoyed true family time. The heated pool was fantastic, and when we had a small issue, the owner resolved it within an hour.The owner also provided a detailed PDF guide that made the stay seamless. The oceanfront porch with rocking chairs was amazing. We will be back for sure.

We were a family of 12, 7 adults 5 kids 6-13. The house was perfect. anything one needed a top of the line coffee grinder and coffee maker even a keurig. Pots, pans, cookie sheets, dishes, glasses serving dishes. There were 2 washers and dryers . The 2 mothers actually used them detergent etc supplied foil, even parchment sheets. A dishwasher, 2 standard fridges The heated pool provided endless fun with any pool toy imaginable. Oh and there were several iguanas at the side of the house to amuse us. It was a 10 minute drive to Publix and a short ride to a stone crab fisherman, Dave, his boat "Nuthins Purfect" and his company is "Dawn Marie." He cracked the claws and cautioned us to eat them within 5 hours. Just sitting on the porch and watching the sea was enough for me. The view is on a Netflix series intro to "Bloodline". We loved every minute. Since our family lives in michigan, virginia, and oregon and we live in new jersey the cousins got to bond. We the grandparents got to love seeing them so at home and happy. Michelle and Gregg have created a magical place and we thank them. If i forgot anything just email Michelle. She answers promptly like in 2 minutes even when she was in Europe. Omt some of our group drive to the Everglades. Plenty of alligators but no pythons. I skipped that trip but they loved it.

This home was perfect for celebrating my birthday with family and friends. We all had an amazing time and were impressed with all the amenities. We didnt leave the house much because it had everything we needed and wanted - beautiful veiw, the ocean, pool and comfortable places to cook, eat and relax. We will definitely be booking again!

FABULOUS ACCOMODATIONS!

Our family of eleven vacationed together to help celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The house was very well equipped with all of our needs.The upstairs toilets both had some issues with running until we jiggled the handles. Also the hand towel holder needs to be repaired, as it was broken upon arrival. Also a rocking chair on the back porch broke while my husband was sitting in it, but he fixed it with some tools he found in the closet. The kitchen, living room seating, and all bedrooms were PERFECT! Everyone enjoyed the pool, ocean, kayaks, pool toys, area restaurants, etc. Everything was absolutely excellent!!!Thank you VERY MUCH!!!

If you are lucky enough to find an opening for this house, just book it.The house and property are truly exceptional. Everything is thoughtfully labeled in the house, which is really handy when you just want to know what light switch turns on which light! The kitchen and bathrooms are VERY well stocked.The canal out back is very nice and my kids actually caught some cool fish out there. Manatees came to visit there are well. We loved the kayaks and paddle boards. The home is over 100 years old but beautifully updated. The views will take your breath away.Perhaps the best part is Michele. She is amazing—the most responsive and caring owner/manager we have ever dealt with. We were sad to leave and beyond grateful for the priceless family memories.

Idyllic Islamorada Experience

Beautiful historic feel, well appointed

A beautiful house and really well appointed. It is rare that you rent a property with the level of dishware, silverware and kitchen tools that this place has. Also, the decoration made you feel at home, not like you were inside a rental. The porch is great for sitting and the view was wonderful. We did have strong winds that pushed alot of sargassum on the beach the first day. It was not cleared until our final day. That would be the only challenge that we experienced.

Best Week Ever!

We had an absolutely AMAZING stay at The Last Resort! Our family of eleven (6 adults and 5 teens) gathered to celebrate Christmas and our 50th wedding anniversary. The house and property turned out to be the perfect location for this occasion - the large (yet cozy) house, the idyllic ocean-front setting, the awesome sunrises from the perfect porch, an incredible heated pool, and so many extras too numerous to list! Heartfelt thanks to Michele for going above and beyond to make our stay so comfortable and fabulous! We couldn't have asked for a better host, location, amenities, and accommodations! THANK YOU SO MUCH, Michele and Greg! Our warm memories of our stay at The Last Resort will be forever in our hearts as one of the best weeks our family has ever had together!

Magical

The drive up the long circular driveway to this beautiful home made us instantly relax. When we walked up the porch steps and in the front door we were faced with an amazing view of the calm ocean and palm trees on the sandy beach and we knew it was going to be a good vacation. The house is spacious and beautifully appointed. The pool and outdoor seating and dining were great. Everything we needed was at the ready. There were two...or more...of everything in the kitchen.There were lots of activities for all ages in the area. Our children arranged for a bagpiper to play from the upper deck and then on the beach on our last night and it was a magical way to end a magical week. We all highly recommend this property!!

Island Fun in the Hot Sun

This property is amazing!! The owners have STOCKED this thing. Don't bring a beach or pool towel, there are plenty ready to go. Beach toys, pool toys, Kayaks, Beach Chairs, Grill (with Propane and back up tanks). Are you traveling with young children (we had a 6 month old in our party)? They have what you need, high chairs, swings, nursery area, stroller, etc... The kitchen has a ton of supplies as well, spices, appliances, aluminum foil, parchment paper, and more. This place has 2 washing machines and 2 dryers so just bring a few things, pack light, and use the wash often, be a tourist! Communication with the property before during and after was quick, easy and responsive. They truly want you to have a good time and focus on your vacation. Make sure to take advantage of all the tours and offerings Robbie's has while on the island. Definitely a good time there. Get in line early, there is a reason this property is hard to book and stays busy (we booked a year in advance). You will enjoy your stay!! Thanks Michelle and crew, we had a blast!!!
