"A upmarket lodge that was recently refurbished. Our room number 10 was large and tastefully furnished with a large modern bathroom and good amenities. The breakfast and dinner served at the restaurant was high quality. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly."

"The great rooms and service gave a luxurious feeling in a place with fantastic views and access to a private beach. We loved everything about this place, not least the amazing dinners and breakfasts served by chef Valery who was the most wonderful host/manager during our stay."

The property has direct access to a very private beach and offers 2 kayaks and a paddle board for you to use when desired. "The photos just don’t do this place justice! We stayed here with a large group over the new years period and the place was fantastic - good outdoor and indoor space, close to the beach, room for dogs and plenty of activities to do. Glen and Carla were awesome hosts and brought around local food daily for us to enjoy - generous and hospitable. We stayed for four days and wished for more time. A beautiful part of New Zealand!"

"We only stayed for 1 night, but when we came in I was amazed how adorable this place is. It had such a magical and good vibe :) Paul was super nice and helpful and we felt very welcomed! The Boathouse Lodge

6/10 Aceptable

"Llego a recepción a las 6.30pm y me han dejado una nota con las llaves. En toda la estancia, no vi a nadie del hotel. Tienen otro hotel cercano y si necesitas algo, tienes que llamar o ir al otro sitio. El detalle que me correspondia ppr estancia, obviamente, no lo huvo. Los baños y duchas son mixtos. A las 11 de la noche llegaron un grupo grande que estuvieron liandola hasta las mil, por lo que dificil dormir. El "desayuno" pone que es "sélf service" y la leche y yogurt están en la nevera... pues en la nevera hay de todo de todo el mundo y no sabes que puedes coger, y el resto de desayuno es pan bimbo, 2 mermeladas, crema de cacahuete y cereales. Lo bueno, la habitacion era amplia, las instalaciones están bien y la cocina tiene de todo para usarse. Y está a 4min del ferry. Economico, e instalaciones decentes. Eso si."
