"My friends and I stayed here for a relaxing short vacation. It is less than a 5 minute walk away from the beach, and about 20 minute walk away from the main shopping area with restaurants. The cottage had comfortable couches and beds and was lovely to stay in."

"The cottage & location was perfect for family time, close to the beach, walking distance as described. It was peaceful on days we just wanted to relax. For fun activities such as kayaking, hiking, dining & shopping, Tobermory was 30 minutes away. We had a wonderful time with the family! Highly recommended, especially for a large group of people."

"This was our 5th year at the Luxury Log Home, near Owen Sound, and it is for a reason.It is an amazing place for friends and/or family to spend a few days at and relax. It is well well equipped with modern appliances, an amazing outdoor kitchen, Pizza Oven and amenities. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and the beds are very comfortable. "A luxury cottage that is an ideal family retreat. A short drive down to Sauble made beach days with family and friends easily accessible. Evenings were spent preparing meals in a well appointed kitchen and enjoying the deck and the campfire pit. The home is perfect for large families with comfortable beds and all the mod cons for a carefree and comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was quick and easy."

"My family had a wonderful time at Howdenvale Haven for the week! The cottage was spacious, clean and close to many different amenities. We loved walking to the beach! Sauble beach, Wiarton and Lions head are only a 20 minute drive. Tobemory was less than an hour. My family was able to explore so many different areas in the Bruce Peninsula!
