"We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views...

"The bathroom was small and dirty with mould growing up the pipes behind the wc. The w.c. was filthy in the bowl. The stairs leading to the room - the Stour Room - were dusty with bitts all over The property looks lovely outside but i would not recommend it to anyone and i think you should visit this inn urgently. "The Foxes Den is a perfect place to stay. Our room was very comfortable, beautifully designed and well equipped. The restaurant provided excellent food, both for dinner and breakfast. It was run very efficiently by a great team of staff."
