"The kids got to swim, jump off a floating platform, kayak & canoe, fish, roast marshmallows by the fire, and help me grill dinner. If any of these is your goal then this is a fantastic place to do it. There's also rentals for boats and jetskis nearby. The swim area is shaded starting in the afternoon. Property also included paddles for the kayaks/canoe as well as the requisite life jackets you'd need to go out. It's shared space, but we didn't have a problem finding a kayak or sharing the fire...

"This was our third time staying at the West End Condo. The property has all the necessary amenities and is surprisingly quiet at night. The kitchen/living room are great for small family hangouts, and the two en-suites provide much appreciated privacy. We love that it is located within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, and museums. Overall, it’s a great place to stay in the city!"

"The property was clean well maintained except for an old rug on the floor. The sink in the kitchen leaked when used and had to leave a towel around it or the water would pool behind it. The unit could have used a long mirror in the closet. The shower was awesome. The Murphy bed was efficient, but not much support on the back. Thanks"

"Easy to get to, conveniently located close to restaurants, bars, shops, and downtown. There are stairs to climb, which didn't bother us, but be mindful as it is on the 3rd floor. Parking is only available on the street, and it was hard to find a spot close by the condo. But, we eventually did park close, so it worked out. We would definitely book this place again and again!"

"Wonderful unit to stay in and close to everything! The place was spacious and gave us lots of options to divvy up the sleeping arrangements. Lots of TVS set up as well! Parking was a huge plus. We did hear some tenants walking around and talking above us toward the end of our stay but it was only occasional. Would highly recommend this for your stay. "

"Portland is one of our favorite cities to visit. This trip we brought along friends that had never been to Maine. This property was perfect for the four of us. It’s in the heart of the Old Port which allowed us to explore all the wonderful restaurants & still be close to the coast. Edith was a wonderful host. She suggested several local spots for us to eat & always made sure we didn’t need anything. We would highly recommend her place & will certainly stay there again. "
