"The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. Yes, it looks fantastic on photos, but as soon as you open the door to the house it smelled stuffy , the kitchen and kitchen tools were greasy, the old bath rooms was not clean.
