"Perfect location for everything we wanted to do! We loved the solitude and the gorgeous deck. We had the beach all to ourselves - the water was calm most mornings, perfect for kayaking with the seals. The interior furnishings are a quirky, eclectic mix of pieces. The living room and other common room couches are in need of replacement - they are not comfortable - but the views of the water made up for that inconvenience."

It’s in quiet Winter Harbor, about a two minute walk from where the lobster boats dock, a 30 second walk to a playground with zip line, basketball court, and large park for kids and dogs to run, and around the corner to a supermarket and the “downtown” with restaurants, cafes, general store. "The first floor has been remodeled and has up-to-date appliances. The second floor has spacious bedrooms. The bathroom is a little small.We enjoyed having the indoor pool and fire pit.The owner was quick to respond to emails."

"Everything was seamless about checking-in and out. Everything you could possibly think of is available for your use. You literally just need food and clothing. I wish there was AC, but my partner liked it warm. It did cool down late at night and there was a window fan to help. The owner put in a lot of thought in creating a peaceful stay. It was close enough to town to the local restaurants and activities. "
