"We were given an unexpected room upgrade from one triple to two ocean view rooms on arrival. The delicious dinners were offered on the covered patio overlooking the extensive flowering gardens and the ocean before our hosts treated us to an amphibious beach buggy ride at sunset. We finished the day relaxing in the hot tub. Wonderful day. They made it so easy to include everything they offered. Would highly recommend to anyone. "

"Andy, the owner, takes great pride about his place. Its location in Bluff has a beautiful view. Room and amenities are very good. Breakfast was included. It was a continental breakfast with cold cereal and simple yet tasty egg hot egg plate choices. Beautiful background soothing music with great view of the ocean. Right next to walking track along the bluff. Next door restaurant has great seafood choices with also great views of the open ocean. Would definitely recommend it also."

"We stayed in the aeonium apartment which doesnt have a sea view but is still in a great location in the lovely garden. The apartment was clean spacious and had kettle, toaster, nespresso machine and fridge. An excellent continental style breakfast is self service in the shared kitchen between 8 and 9am. Staff and other buests were feally friendly"

"Lovely room overlooking gorgeous gardens and places to relax. The owner, Jen, told me TE MAHURU means a place of rest and renewal, and that it was. Hosts are fantastic and the place is perfect for serenity. We really enjoyed the hot tub and star- gazing too, as this spot is one of only 23 designated Dark Sky observation spots in the world. Truly a unique and lovely experience all around. Good breakfast too."
