Corpus Christi was amazingly nice, clean and seemly safe for a big city. The beach is clean and well patrolled. It is 10 miles from National Seashore, recommended side trip. Good restaurants in the city. The only complains are with Padre Escapes the property managers, only one elevator and it was dirty and its functionality was...

"You drive up hoping this a not what you rented., this is not what you saw in the pictures or reviews. From the outside being unstable on the decks, garage door damaged, doors did not close properly, batteries missing in smoke alarm, torn couch, terrible mold spells in lower portion, almost unbearable. No communication on where the pool is. Dirty stained nasty towels, garbage left on porch, and driveway. Not what we expected in any way."
