"I booked a room for 2 nights and was highly dissatisfied. The first room I was given smelled terrible and when I requested another room I was told they all smelled the same. After insisting with management for several minutes I was reluctantly given another room. Upon entering the new room, the sink was full of live bugs, but it was late so I stayed in the room regardless. "The house on Moon River is the perfect marriage of comfort and outdoor accessibility. We brought our boat with us and the proximity of the boat ramp and floating dock at the house made it a breeze. We caught plenty of redfish and blue crabs from the dock out back. If you want to get off the beaten path to fish and enjoy the outdoors this place checks all the boxes. Owners were super easy to work with and check in/out was very easy. "

"Another great stay at this clean and cool cabin in the middle of so much wildlife! Deer and turkeys frequented the backyard and no shortage of birds, hogs, alligator, fox, and armadillo in and around the refuge. Loved it!"

Every light switching was labeled amazing. We are senior travelers inside this house large hallway. No tight corners to get around. Roomy. I wish I could give you 10 stars. One of the nicest places we have stayed."
