The property surrounding the house parking area was rundown with old pitiful buildings that should not be entered! "We really enjoyed this rental home. The location was great for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park as it was about 10 minutes to Acadia entrance and around 18 minutes to Bar Harbor. You felt like you were in country but still very close to everything. The home was very clean and beds were comfortable.It was such a nice treat to be welcomed with a basket full of snacks, plenty of coffee and creamer, and a basket of toiletries including tooth brushes and tooth paste.
