"Narrow entrance to car park with two prominent concrete boulders. Scraped front wing on arrival boulders are hidden from drivers view due to small turning angle so beware....rooms have not been updated for several years. Bathroom very small, shower in bath lacked pressure. Staff excellent, nice continental breakfast. Great location . Hotel full of character set in lovely grounds."

Anne the owner was such a lovely, delightful lady, at breakfast she was friendly, kind and considerate to all of the guests and nothing was too much trouble. "Lovely clean and tidy hotel. The rooms look refurbished and were spotless. We had the family room which was bigger than we were expecting. Two separate bedrooms and a bathroom. The staff were pleasant. Parking plentiful. Breakfast (eggs, hash browns, beans, sausages, bacon etc.) was included. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants/shops. Perfect for our stay."

"My second time staying here. Checked in easy enough with the accommodation across the road at the lodge. The room had nice décor although the bathroom looked a little tired. I used the onsite gym facilities which did not have a lot of people in and allowed me to use the work stations and benches when I wanted to. The shower was good, the bed very comfy and breakfast across at the clubhouse restaurant was very good. A lovely place to stay."
