We loved being able to cook our hiking meals in the well-equipped kitchen before heading out—just a quick 25-minute drive to Baxter State Park. You really can’t beat this location if you’re visiting the park. Thank you, Elizabeth, for providing such a wonderful and comfortable space. We made memories here...

Came into town with a friend to hike in Baxter and this was a great place to relax and recuperate. Close enough to any gas stations, grocery stores or restaurants you may need. Awesome overall."

"Loved the house and location but you really NEED to put a notification in the listing that the water from the faucet is not drinkable! It is pumped in from the lake. The only place that I found that told this, was in the booklet about the rules of the house. You did however supply a gallon of water in the frig. Thanks for that! I would have been prepared for no drinkable water if I had known in advance by bringing more water or my backpacking filter! There NEEDS to be a sign by the faucets...
