"The owners are really helpful and friendly. The rooms are perfect, showing a tremendous attention to detail. Breakfast was the best on this trip, and the owner showed us pictures of the island and told us about its history as we ate. After that, he picked up his fiddle and provided us with a mini concert. 10 stars is my evaluation!!"

"Excellent location. Wonderful staff. Shout out to Heather and McDonald. The only complaint is that most cottages atleast provide coffee and sugar so that we dont have to go looking for it outside. This place did not have any coffee."

"We so enjoyed meeting the owners Colin and Justin, we are super fans of their tv shows. We had our dinner at the Bothy, the dish was superb. We also had breakfast and was equally delicious. The room was very tastefully decorated and the bed & towels etc were exceptionally clean. #10 at North Star Suites in Louisbourg, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia is not just a hotel it’s an experience. We wanted for nothing.
