The view from the balcony was spectacular, and the place was spotless when we arrived and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to this beautiful part of Cape Breton."

"We had a very relaxing stay at Doug's loft suite. It's a very peaceful property. The hot tub definitely made this a 5 star place to stay. So relaxing and peaceful watching the sunset and then the stars at night. The room is a bit small but quaint and has everything you need including a small fridge, sink, dishes etc. and the bed was comfortable. We would definitely return the next time we visit the area. "A gem of a property on a pristine, serene lake---with every amenity imaginable. Gazebo for lake gazing , dock for swimming and canoeing , easy paddle boat , vegetable gardens , cleared walkways , vista spots to special views and meditating ... and that's just the outdoors. Inside are designer touches, new appliances, stylish furniture, natural light, large rooms, and a great bed. And best of all the hosts who love this place and love sharing it. We felt blessed."

"Great little unit that was spacious and easy to find. Close to Baddeck with easy access to the rest of the island. Little playground for the kids was a nice touch, especially when the parents were trying to pack up. We did notice that the fridge didn't seem to be cleaned from the last guest. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!!"
