"Small hostel in a great location. The owners are super nice and booked our canyoneering tour for us, and rented us snorkels for our whole stay. The room was nice enough, no frills but good for what we needed. The shared bathroom was not great though, and could do with some attention. The sliding front door was also very stiff and awkward to use, which was a bit annoying. The wall is very thin from the main reception room to the bedroom and so it was noisy whenever people were talking in the...

"Our stay at the Backyard Inn was nothing short of a nightmare. The experience felt like actually sleeping outside with the chickens. The pod smelled of chicken waste, the sink didn’t drain, and the noise was unbearable—constant chicken noises, roosters crowing, and no peace or quiet to rest. We couldn’t wait to leave. The only saving grace was the staff, who were friendly and helpful, but that does not make up for the dreadful conditions. I would never stay here again. Avoid this place unless...

The place is very quiet and you'll enjoy a stay from the touristic hustle of Moalboal, which remains very accessible of you got a motorbike or just choose to move around with buses. Cottages are very clean and perfectly furnished, with a great fan on the roof to keep the place fresh. You'll enjoy the many birds around singing in the morning for a a quiet and ernergizing stay."
