You just need to understand that it's just outside of Big Bay so any real dining choices will require you to go to Marquette. "Great location for ice fishing and snowmobile riding. Up North Lodge restaurant/bar is only minutes away with a great menu selection.We rented two cabins which were perfect for our party of 8. Kitchens are a bit small, but have everything you need for cooking meals. Host was great to work with."

"Wonderful getaway! I really appreciated that we were in a private area so I didn't have to worry about the dogs running around-they loved sniffing in the woods! Cute cabin, nice and clean, plenty of room for me, husband and the two dogs! Traci was so kind and welcoming-she also told us about the swamps in the state land down the road a ways and we went and explored them at sunset-GORGEOUS! Definitely want to come back with the kayaks! "

"Found these cottages by chance & we’re so grateful. It seemed that EVERY other place was booked; required multiple night stays, or would not allow pets. Our request was granted promptly thru VRBO, as usual. Admittedly, it was strange not having a hotel clerk to admit us, but we were used to it w VRBO.
