  • Nice cottage on all sports Big Bass Lake in Irons Michigan. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. Kitchen dining room & living room open concept with a beautiful view of the lake. Flatscreen TV with cable. Central air conditioning.
    2 - 8 foot sliding doors leading out to a large spacious deck with a beautiful lake view. 1 bedroom downstairs 2 upstairs. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Cottage has large yard for outdoor fun with bonfire pit, bag toss game, horse shoes, bad mitten/ volleyball game. Dock with 2 kayaks, paddle boat & canoe available. Some life jackets available. You can bring your own Motor craft public access right down the road and you can tie up to the dock in front of the house.

Loved the proximity to the lake and the options for activities. It was very quiet and we enjoyed our stay immensely. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Would definitely pick this VRBO again!

The location of this VRBO was excellent. The private beach area was charming, and having access to the kayaks was a wonderful bonus. It’s also conveniently located—just a 35-minute drive to Ludington, which made for a great day trip. Overall, a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

Lovely lake house

The house was a wonderful getaway for our family! The lake was absolutely perfect for kayaking and the paddle boat.

Great place for a long visit

We stayed here for a couple of weeks in early summer and really enjoyed our visit. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Wouldn't think twice about booking it again for another long stay.

We spent three nights at this wonderful family getaway. It accommodated five adults and two kids comfortably. It was just what we needed. My grandson had his “best vacation ever” he’s nine. We had everything we needed. The house was as described with plenty of things to keep us busy.

Beautiful lake, house has plenty of room, has everything you would need in the house and kitchen, very clean. Kayaks, small sandy beach, beautiful sunrises, swimming and fishing. My grandkids loved it.

August rental

Accurate listing - place is very tidy and homey. Two kayaks, a canoe, and a paddle boat are available to use. Host was quick to respond. It was a great place! as great and very fast in responding. A wonderful place!

Lovely lake cottage

We loved the peaceful and cozy cottage! Had a blast using the boats and swimming with our girls. Cottage is nicely furnished and has a lot of amenities. Beds were all comfortable, as well! Hope to come back again

2 week vacation

Very nice property. It was very well equipped with everything you need. The pontoon was an added bonus. The host was excellent at answering all questions and getting back to you immediately. We enjoyed our stay.

Great experience

Property was well cared for and clean. We had a wonderful time and hope to visit again. Only wished we could have our dog there. We do understand that is what owners preferred.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed the week at Big Bass Lake! Your cottage was a great place to stay for the week. We got plenty of good fishing in and much needed relaxation. The cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and will definitely look to rent your cottage again in the future. Wonderful cottage and location!

My husband and I spent a week at this cottage and we did not want to leave! The view from the living room is amazing. Even though you share a beach with four other homes, it doesn’t take away from the experience at all. The water was clean and we were so lucky that the weather was beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked and we really enjoyed the deck. The hostess was great with any questions we had. We will be coming back for sure!

Cozy beach cottage

We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this cute lakeside cottage. The cottage was clean and stocked with everything a person could possibly need. However, finding the fridge door stuffed with opened, partially used condiments was unacceptable to us. Everything else was great!

Beautiful View

Easy access to beach! Loved the view. House was super cute and cozy. Loved having access to all appliances- making meals was easy! Quick responses from Victoria! She seemed very nice. Only downfall of it all, we had bad weather(lots of rain). Michigan is unpredictable. No bonfires here. But we made the most of our stay! Thank you!

Big Bass Lake House

The property is as described in the listing. The host responds quickly to all inquiries/questions. During our stay, the "neighborhood" was quiet. The house is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals. Ample linens of good quality are provided. The deck furniture allows for comfortable seating for the number of guests the house accommodates. The beach and deck umbrellas are great for shade on the sunny deck. Great view of the lake. We would recommend to others interested in a relaxing, northern Michigan vacation in a quality rental and would stay again.

Memories

My husband and I arrived with his brother and his wife. Big Bass Lake was their family, yearly summer vacation spot. The 4 of us were very comfortable inside, outside, while we slept and when we cooked. The kitchen is well equipped. I made hummingbird food and sat for hours watching them feed. It is a quiet spot with easy access to any supplies you might need. Big Bass Lake holds such a special place in my husband’s family that a few years ago when his sister passed, her ashes were spread there. This home was a great place to relive all of their family memories.

Family Vacation

Victoria is wonderful! So easy to communicate with and very responsive and helpful! The house is adorable and the lake is beautiful. The pontoon is such a lovely addition and the ability to dock our fishing boat right in front of the house was a huge asset. Only challenge about our stay was that we found the intermittent/unavailable cell coverage to be difficult. One rental suggestion is to update the mattresses and pillows. Otherwise, very cute place and a great fit for our family. Would love to come again!

the beach house is Great everthing there u need .I

my only concern is the water ,nothing mentioned about iron in water ,i can not drink that type of well water. Just bring your own .water.
