"We were happy to get the cabin at Camp Amnicon and had no problems during our stay. It is the off season and the weather was cool and we had a couple of rainy spells, but we hiked and watched birds each day in spite of the weather. Hiking to the Lake Superior beach was enjoyable. We had no problem carting our gear in to the "walk in" cabin. Numerous hikes, state parks, and birdwatching sites are a short drive away. Birdwatching from the cabin was productive and interesting. "We had our children and their families for Memorial Day weekend. Plenty of room for all of us and the separated houses was nice. The kids LOVED the beach. Too cold to swim but they loved the sand and driftwood. We definitely enjoyed the beautiful view! Kids had plenty to keep themselves busy. "

The one thing I would say is that the bathroom is a shared space with the other cabins on the property.
