"The room was reasonably clean but looked very tired and dingey, shower head holder was broken and when using rain shower,bath screen too short and flooded the bathroom floor. Have stayed in a lot better for a lot less!!"

"The Strathburn Hotel was the ideal venue for our surprise birthday gathering. The hotel is old style but comfortable, clean and warm with a quiet lounge area beside the reception where we sat and chatted.
