This was the nicest place we stayed in in Scotland. A very short walk to town centre. Room was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. A great base to explore the north.

This was a nice room, clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and offered good advice for local restaurants and activities within walking distance. We enjoyed the big Scottish breakfasts and the cookies and tea in our room.

Perfect!
Wonderful stay. Room was perfect, breakfast choices were great, and Andrea is a great host who seems to want the best for her guests. Highly recommend.

This property was within walking distance to Inverness. The house is beautiful and and very clean. The breakfast was delicious. Andrea does a very nice job and we will stay there again.

Great value and spot on.
A clean and comfortable small room which I knew before trip. Perfect size for a single person. Hosts were friendly and very accommodating especially during these strange times. Breakfast choices were excellent, well prepared and delivered quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble. There was parking if I needed but didn’t. Close to City a short walk. Plenty of local information in room to look at if required. My only very small niggle was that room and especially en suite shower room could do with a refresh and update. I would stay again tho as it was very clean and comfortable and also practical for myself.

Good one-nighter
Ferry was delayed so arrived after 8pm but phoned and landlady was very relaxed about it. Met me on arrival and showed me to my room. Chatty and friendly at breakfast the following day. Comfortable bed - a good one-nighter.

Great location, great breakfast
The service was great - had to leave early in the morning for a tour and the hosts offered to make breakfast early for us! The room was very comfy and homely. Definitely recommended!

This was a great bed and breakfast. From the moment the host opened the door on our arrival to the end, nothing was a problem. They even changed our travel plans for the day based on their knowledge of the area, which we are so glad they did. The room was spacious, breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely return

Sorry you thought Breakfast was “average”. All our breakfasts are freshly cooked to order from a menu with 11 choices on it and a full sideboard of cereals, breads, youghurts, fresh fruit and juices! Not sure what else you were expecting!!

Nice home base
We had a great time in Inverness. Ardmeanach House was a good base. Comfortable room, wonderful hosts, good food. It was walking distance to the things we wanted to do in the city.

Happy Highlander
Ideally situated in a quiet leafy suburb, but within quick and easy walking distance to the city centre. The host provided a warm and welcoming reception. The accommodation is well-appointed throughout and is very clean and comfortable. Excellent parking available on site. I felt during and after my stay that this was a very lucky find and at a very reasonable price for city accommodation. Choices at breakfast were impressive and the food was of avery high quality. Highly recommended.

Wonderful stay and friendly!
We stayed two nights as we passed through Inverness on a two week Scotland tour (self driving). The house itself is beautiful and the rooms are clean, tidy and very inviting. Well worth it! Staff was tremendously friendly and more than willing to either have a friendly chat or provide you a bit of privacy as desired. Extra efforts to provide guests with a full understanding of not only the area but also all the options of mini-trips/excursions with recommendations was very helpful as our plans changed last minute. Location is great as it's only a 5-10 minute walk to city centre and is also very easy to drive to. The on-site, private parking was also handy. Well worth it and the comfort let you rest and recover from a very active day to go out and do it all over again. Breakfasts were delicious!

Great place. 5-10 minute walk to the city center. Friendly staff that can discuss local areas of interest if you want to know more. We would definitely stay there again. Great breakfast! Very accommodating to special requests!

Room a bit cramped but bed comfortable and breakfast good. Within easy walking distance of recommended restaurants

Sorry you felt the Room was a bit small. The only room it could have been was the Single. It’s for 1 person and has everything that is required including an en suite. I don’t know of many places that have bigger single rooms to be perfectly honest. If you come and stay again make sure to book one of the double or twin rooms for Single Occupancy.
