Inverloch trip

Pros: Huge property and very comfortable for large groups. Spacious, clean and bright. Lots of beds and bathrooms. Great location. The spa, snooker table and ping pong table provided lots of joy.Cons: The keysafe was difficult to lock and unlock. Area around spa very cramped and hazardous. The upstairs microwave did not heat up food too well. Only one cue was decent enough to use for snooker/pool table. All the ping pong balls were flat or cracked. The hot water ran out unexpectedly by the evening on second day.

Felt it was a bit expensive with having to supply own linen and towels.Bin in games room had someone’s rubbish in it eg half eaten apple.Left hand bed room down stairs, double bed sagging.Grill tray had not been cleaned. Hot plate staying on high.Games room, Spa, showers and location all very good.

Great location, huge house but lacking in some ways

We were a party of 9 adults and 5 teens. It’s a huge house which sleeps 16 but fails to accommodate that many people in some areas of the house - small lounge room, small balcony with bbq with only a 6 seater table, another 6 seater table in kitchen area. No table for everyone to sit together. The weather was good so it would have been ideal to sit together outside. It wasn’t overly clean with lots of dust. We were expected to clean the bbq after use however, it was barely clean to begin with. The downstairs outdoor area with the spa lacks character with no table and just a bunch of dirty plastic chairs. Overall, we had a good time with the pool table & table tennis table but not being able to eat together as a group was a big let down. Worth mentioning is that one of the rooms with a double bed is a walkway/thoroughfare to the rest of the house.

Disappointed

We take our family away every year and were disappointed with our decision to stay here. Linen and towels are not provided unless you pay $30 a head (noted in the very fine print). No soap or shampoos provided. The toilet leaks (clean water thankfully) all over the floor and had to put a tray under the tap. Vanity cupboard door comes off its hinges. Barbecue has never been cleaned and was really dangerous as a grease and fat fire started in the tray when we attempted to clean it. Plenty of room in the house and games room was good. Spa was also good

Family gettogether

House well located and large but very tired and unloved. Kitchen utensils barely adequate and very old. Barbecue in need of replacement or maintenance. We enjoyed the location and the pool table and table tennis.

Plenty of space, great location just needs a lot of TLC

The house has great potential and housed all my family members which is the main reason for choosing this house. The house is tidy but requires a good clean. The pool table and tennis table were a great success for all ages but the table tennis bats were damaged. A broken cue.and all games and puzzles were incomplete. Cleaning tools provided yet the mop had no head so could not clean the floors as thoroughly as i wished..if you suffer asthma be prepared for the dust on heaters ,doors and surfaces .the frying pans were badly burnt but other saucepans provided. Many bathrooms and 2 laundry areas provided which was great. The matresses are thin, plus, the doonas and pillows provided were of very poor quality and marked.. Take ALL your own bedding. THE lower floored kitchen had zero utensils or appliances, not even a plug to wash the dishes. the heating and hot water pressure was Perfect. The house is a great size and has a locked backyard for animals and children to be kept safe.. The location was awesome. With a good clean , new bedding and complete toys , this house would have had a much better rating..I apologise for the negativity because the house did provide plenty of spaces for my 16 family members ,including children.

Easter at Inverloch

Loved the location, but alas the facilities in the home very less than ordinary. Very disappointed with the lack of toiletries , cleanliness of the toilets/ bathrooms. There were very old and unusable frying pans, pantry essentials were missing. The house is big and loved the pool table and table tennis. Owners need to show some love and make some upgrades to the TV/ kitchen / bathroom/ toilets.

Nice place, spa no good, no flexibility with covid isolation

Future renters be warned that their COVID clause does not include the booking maker having to isolate for COVID, only government lockdown. Zero flexibility with rescheduling when 3/6 of our family tested positive, despite all others joining us on holiday linked to our family not each other. They had vacancies next two weekends but were not willing to reschedule. Those who did use the house were happy except felt that future renters should be aware of the folowing: Doonas very thin and not warm enough. Outdoor Spa can only be heated to 37degrees, so may as well not have it there, the bath was warmer. Saucepans had burnt on food on them on arrival. Felt they had to wash cooking equipment before use as cleanliness questionable. House is great size and location, shame about management.

Great gateway but just need to improve some points.

We had a great time especially our teen children had their own time down stairs, entertain themselves, but would be nicer if they clean more as some crumbs in each drawer in the kitchen, all the pans damaged that we couldn't use at all, not enough wine glasses, some kitchen items were missing so we needed purchase our selves. But overall, our children had a ball so it was a nice holiday.

Great location

Nice big house, plenty of space for the adults inside + kids to play. However, everything seamed sticky. Inside all kitchen cupboards were full of crumbs. The oven was filthy + the BBQ dirty. The pool table would have been nice to use but only one cue had a nub on it and it was worn down. Old nibs there but were broken. No dish washing liquid in the kitchen. Once we bought some cleaning supplies + cleaned the BBQ we enjoyed our weekend away

Great for big families

This house is fabulous for a large group. We loved it and we would certainly recommend it for big family groups. Multiple living areas, large kitchen, massive pool room with table tennis table, enormous laundry, lots of beds. Our extended family had a really great holiday and catering for us all was easy with two inside dining tables and one on the balcony. Great position for shops and inlet beach. A few niggles. No wine glasses at all. Only 6 cereal bowls. Only 6 pasta bowls. One thin doona per bed - some of us were cold overnight. The garden was overgrown and there was rubbish and tinnies around the back yard. The property manager sorted this out straight away for us, and also arranged for the smelly full bins to be emptied the following morning. The BBQ was so fatty and putrid we couldn't sit on the balcony until it was cleaned. We did this ourselves. The oven had been sprayed with caustic spray but not cleaned. We had to clean the caustic off before we could use it. Glass sliding doors filthy. We were happy with how the property manager responded to some of our complaints quickly, however these things should have been sorted out BEFORE our arrival.
