Beautiful Little Cottage Near Inveraray

The cottage was very sweet and suited our needs well. We were so pleasantly surprised by how beautiful the little town of Inveraray was, and had fun dining/walking around there. We also enjoyed exploring Loch Lomond from Luss - we took a short little boat ride and then had a picnic near the water. A very relaxing leg of our trip :). Thank you, Patsy.

Great house, amazing location

We loved our time here. The house was clean, cosy and homely, had everything we needed and more and the master bed was soooo comfortable! We had a minor issue whilst staying but Patsy the owner was very friendly and communicated well and acted quickly to resolve, she was a pleasure to deal with. The house is perfectly located as every window you look out of house a different amazing view. Spectacular walks right out of the back gate and out the front down by the loch. We were lucky to have snow whilst we were there making it all the more breathtaking. We travelled to some of the local areas, taking in even more views along the way, Inveraray was our favourite, especially The George Hotel. The shop a few minutes walk away hosts a pop up licensed restaurant in the village hall, so we took advantage of this being so close and the food and environment were great and the locals were very friendly which made for a lovely night. We would definitely visit here again, it would be beautiful in any season.

A little gem in the The Western Highlands.

The property lived up to its description- little gem. It was ideally located, comfortable , clean , pleasantly furnished and had a welcome pack of essentials which we were very grateful for. A very enjoyable week in a beautiful area with plenty to see and do. The added bonus was great weather . Would definitely recommend.

A true gem located 10 minutes drive from Inveraray. Great day trips in all directions. Kitchen, bedrooms, living room and patio room are all pleasant, comfortable and cozy with all you need to settle in for a few nights.

Very lovely and cosy cottage

The cottage is lovely and cosy and very clean. We felt very comfortable during our 17-day stay in the cottage and enjoyed sitting in the winter garden with the beautiful view of the countryside. Very nice location on Loch Fyne, very good starting point for trips to the coast, islands and Glasgow. Very nice contact with the landlady!

Great early winter break

Great cottage - photos don’t do it justice. Well supplied kitchen with everything you could need or want. Cosy and comfortable lounge, wood burner was lovely and all the tv and internet worked perfectly making it a great hideaway even in poor weather. Comfy bedroom with electric blankets - perfect for lazy winter mornings.

A great find

Inveraray stay

We loved our stay in Furnace (Inveraray area)! The guest house was very nice and cozy - we loved staying there and it was great access to all of the area. One of our favorite things was having tea in the morning and looking out on all of our 'neighbors' (the sheep) - even naming a few of them! The weather was not exactly cooperative - but then again it was expected - but the house was a real bright spot in our stay and we would love to come back and visit again. Thanks again
