"Room was very nice but the shower dripped loudly. We reported it immediately but was not fixed within the 2 days we were there. Second floor rooms are directly above the saloon causing us to endure loud music until nearly 11pm both nights. There was no ice in the large ice container on 2nd floor causing us to go to the bakery downstairs to get some. "

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville."

"My BFF and I rented this for her 50th bday getaway celebration and her one request was a hot tub! Hot tub was perfect and private and easy to use! Fire pit seating, bbq if we needed it, and cornhole games also added to the outdoor fun offered by this property. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with every utensil and item necessary for cooking full meals. Lovely comfortable mattresses and bedding left us feeling cozy and rested every morning.
