"Accommodation was generally as described although we understand that the swimming pool is only available to guests at extra cost payable to the Park Dean Resort - this was not clear to us from the listing which advertises swimming pool in the headline. In the end, we did not use the swimming pool and went to the beach instead. "Expedia confirmed my booking and took payment. Around two hours later, the host cancelled because of “an error with the calendar” — for a stay that was due the very next day.
That alone was bad enough, but the refund process made it worse. It took two days and three phone calls to Expedia to chase a proper refund, after the first refund shown was only partial.
So I was left with no accommodation, wasted time, unnecessary stress, and then had to fight to get back the money I should never have...

"Once you get used to not being a host and you have worked out the codes for all the doors it works ok. I understand the location but really could do with its own parking, luckily the road outside was under roadworks so I parked at the front."

"We booked this property as the picture on website looked nice. It said we would share bathroom only with people in our party, this was booked as non-refundable. We only book properties with en-suite usually but as said it would only be shared with our party. Once booking came through I checked the postcode and found that the property was down a private road which you could not view on google maps.
