Part 1/2 reviewThe Luxe House was everything and more! My daughter got married in Indio, and finding this rental for 6 adult family members, plus my husband and myself, was perfect! I chose this rental for its proximity to the wedding venue and the 3 king size bed suites. My family appreciated having their own bedroom and bath. The “casitas” as the listing calls them are part of the house but with its own key code entrance. They were great for privacy. The smaller of the two, a/c wasn’t the best, a bit stifling at night. The bigger “casita” had its own mini split a/c which kept them cool. The reason I know they had a mini split was because I was in the bedroom next to theirs and heard the constant knocking of unit kicking on. Everywhere else kept us cool and comfortable. My family enjoyed the back yard with jacuzzi, pool water features, and palm trees wrapped in string lights. There is also a regulation size pool table outdoors as well!Helios, the property management company for this house was the star of the show! I have never encountered a better prop management company in my many years of short term rentals. The professionalism of the staff was on pointe with the Ritz of Laguna Nigel! The courtesy I was given in our communication was top notch. I communicated with at least 4 staff members and each one made sure I was taken care of. You see, they went above and beyond their duties…yikes! I am out of characters. Will post part 2.

This was one of the most comfortable places I have stayed at . The outside area was fantastic and we spent alot of time out there. We had some things that needed help with , but Helios was superb. They adjusted the things we needed.the jacuzzi was great after a fun day . The pool was just right after close to 100 degree days. The sleeping accommodations fit our needs to a tee. Plenty of furniture through out the whole house with comfortable beds , and nice showers . Would recommend this house to anyone that wants to enjoy a great get away

Decent place

The pictures don’t exactly match the house. It was a good stay some minor issues like lights not working and ice machine not working. The property management company monitors the noise outside with a device and they were telling us to be quiet at noon on a Friday. So that felt a little invasive. The neighborhood is a little sketchy. A lot of homeless.

Beautiful Backyard

We loved the pool. It was beautiful and just what we needed after a day in the heat. We had a difficult time with the hot tub getting hot. It never really got hotter than the pool which was a little disappointing at night.

Comfortable house and super backyard

The house was fine though definitely targeting tall young people. All the eating areas had stool seating so shorter people could not have their feet on the floor. My grandson went out to buy me a step stool because I could not climb into a very high king bed in the master suite.

Amazing!

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at The Luxe house. It had everything we could have possibly needed for a getaway with three families (even a fully equipped kitchen). The casitas and master bedroom were like staying in a hotel! And the property held all the amenities we needed (pool, pool table, cozy living room, spacious bedrooms) to keep our three families (kids ages 9-15) entertained. Honestly, it s a place we would love to return to, either with our own families or together as a group again. I would definitely recommend it to other large groups looking to have some time away. And of course a heated pool in February was the best part.

Family get together

Overall it was amazing. A few minor things. Needed cookie sheets. Would have been nice to have the patio tiles mopped. Our feet would get very dirty. And the couch cushions wiped off, they were dusty also. The internet was very spotty. But it was a good place to stay with the family. A lot of space for everyone.

Birthday celebration

We had 9 family members gather for a birthday. The house easily accommodated all of us.The backyard /pool area was nice. It was especially nice that we were able to listen to music outside. Shopping was close. There were a few recommendations we made upon leaving that we felt would get attention because of the ease of dealing with the property manager before our arrival.

Beautiful Pool

All of the accommodations were wonderful. Nice size bedrooms and comfortable beds. Layout of kitchen to great room to patio very livable. The pool was so so fun, nice and clean. The 3 girls were in the water more than out and had a blast! The patio with fire pit was the perfect place for the adults to gather and visit and watch the girls. We would definitely stay here again!

good for big family

not bad but not super nice either. outside space is good. if you like harsh LED lights all over the house this is your place. master bedroom tv didn't work. neighborhood is ok but older. check in was a bit of a mess because codes for casitas were wrong so had to get management to come over. its not a bad property but it needs a little TLC.

Perfect spot for Indian Wells tennis tournament

Our group of 8 ladies spent a few days here and visited the Indian Wells tennis tournament. Most of us had our own beds and we were close to the venue as well as restaurants nearby. The property was clean and the management company was very responsive on an issue with the ac in the casita. Overall, highly recommend.

Wonder well-appointed House

We stayed for 4 days at the The Lux House in mid October. Temperatures were fantastic - mid 90s in the day and cool at night. The house is located in a great location in Indio -- close to all the shopping we could want, but still far enough away that it felt quiet and safe. The house was perfectly clean and clearly well taken care of for a place that must see a large number of guests. We only used the spa, but it was wonderful - clean, full functional, heated up quickly, and private. Inside, the kitchen was well appointed with all the tools, plates, accessories, one could want for preparing and presenting meals -- the bed was comfortable as was the living room. All lights, electronics (that we tried) worked and seemed to be in good order. Our hosts were everything we could have wanted -- they kept us informed as we got close to our stay and had such good instructions onsite that we never had to reach out to them.

Fun in the Sun

We had a great time staying at this home! Lots of room. Clean. Nice having all the pool towels. Very large patio with ceiling fans. Beds very comfortable. We had a question about how to start the bbq and they answered immediately! Although we never were able to get the surround sound working. There was a little discrepancy about check out time, but that was resolved very quickly and they were very accommodating!! We had 6 adults and two teenagers and we were all very comfortable! Would stay at this home again!!

Comfortable House

I would have given 4.5 stars, if I could. The property was, generally speaking, as described. The 4 bunk beds were very spacious and comfortable. One of the smaller rooms had a relatively small bed, and it was not possible to have two grown ups to sleep comfortably in it. The dining tables provided ample space to eat, chat, and just hangout. Plenty of beach towels was a plus. The pool was smaller than expected, and the jacuzzi jets did not work--but, I'm sure the jets will be fixed for the next guests. The outdoor space was also ample. Plenty of patio furniture and even a pool table! Any questions we had were answered quickly by the owners, so I appreciated that. So, what did I not like about the property? I'm used to staying in Palm Desert area, so this one was quite a bit further away (like 20-25 minutes of additional driving). Now, that's not the fault of the property--it's just my complaining about the drive. Next, the neighborhood did not come across impressive or upscale. But, it wasn't bad. The small park across the street was kind of nice for the young children. Furnitures and doors appeared "dinged up." I guess that means this property gets a lot of short-term renters. So, I took some pictures and videos to make sure that we weren't going to be responsible for them. One last thing--our children got bitten by mosquitoes as soon as we walked in. Again, I can't really blame the property for this, but it just didn't feel good that many of us got mosquito bites. It could be the hot weather that got the critters all active, looking for cooler places. All in all, I think 2500 sq. ft. of living space was sufficient for our group of 10.

Fun Spring Break with Family & Friends

We had such a lovely time at this home to enjoy some friend and family time during our kiddos spring break! The bunk beds were great for all the kiddos (ages 6 & 9) and of course they loved the salt water pool - especially the Baja step and the water features. And us adults enjoyed the outdoor pool table and the grill! The house was very clean and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us! And the hosts were fabulous- very responsive and made sure we had all the info we needed to make for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We will be back!
