Great Trip!

Everything was wonderful. Couldn’t beat the price, the property was very clean, and communication with Tatyana was seamless. The pool and hot tub were perfect. My girlfriend left her necklace at the property and the cleaning lady went out of her way to ship it back to us. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Nice House, but Poor Host Communication and Heavily Chlorinated Pool

The property itself was nice and was in line with the description in the listing. The house and the pool were both very clean and the neighborhood was nice, though there were several barking dogs and a rooster nearby. Also, be sure to pack hangers because there are none in any of the rooms. There also aren't a lot of cooking pans, but plenty of dishware. Our experience in terms of communication was very poor. We e-mailed the owner a month before our stay to enquire about cancelling because the rest of our family had to cancel. The host literally never responded. We ended up keeping our reservation and heard from the host one day before arrival, "confirming" our arrival time of 5:00 and giving us entry instructions. The listing and automatic confirmation had both listed a 4:00 check-in time, and we were planning on arriving at that time, so I responded immediately to see if that was a typo or if they indeed changed our check-in time. No response, so we went with the later time. It was frustrating spending so much on a property and having a host that does not respond to basic questions. The pool was clean and had good equipment (e.g., heated the pool quickly, etc.), but was maintained with such a high amount of chemicals we all suffered a bit. Even after bathing with lotion soap and putting on lotion immediately after being in the pool, my skin is so itchy that I cannot sleep. My husband stopped going in because it was so bad. My 2-year-old still wanted to go in, but his skin was dry and itchy, even after a bath and lotion, and his eyes have never bothered him so much in a pool. I highly recommend to the host that they consider reducing the amount of chemicals they put in the pool. This change would made a huge difference in the quality of a guest's stay. All and all, I would not stay here again if things stayed the same, but both of these issues are easily fixed if the host is motivated.

If you like a cool house do not rent. The lowest the AC goes is 74 and requires a password to go lower. House felt a lot warmer than 74. The pool was green from algae. The hot tub wasn’t even luke warm. The couches were old and worn. The very old refrigerator wasn’t cold. The freezer’s shelves were broken. And the dishes were dirty. One mixing bowl was even covered in oil. We also noticed a car parked across the street watching us...very weird! When I messaged the owner at first about the fridge and AC she got back to me promptly. When I messaged about the pool I had to message again in the morning, 15 hours later!!! And the fridge was still not cold! It was at this time she finally told me about her other property and allowed us to move there. It was MUCH nicer and in a gated community. Oh and one of my friends looked up how to fix the pool situation at the first place and went out and spent his own money and fixed it!

Nice place, good value

Nice place with a great back area (pool and hot tub and some nice plants and fenced so your dogs can walk around). Good neighborhood, though there was a dog a couple of homes over that tended to bark most of the night. Very clean, except there was some yucky, icky stuff in the rocks right next to the hot tub. Good size for 6 people, though there was only seating for 4 in the dining area. Stuff worked well, except the main shower did not and the master shower was quite leaky.

Worked for 2 families

We were in town with another family for a lacrosse tournament at the Empire Polo Fields. Location for that is excellent. The pool was clean and hot tub plenty warm. The secret bonus was the grapefruit and orange trees in the backyard. They were delicious. Plenty of linens and a well-stocked kitchen. Netflix/Hulu for TV, so don't expect to watch the local news or football game. We will stay again!

I was contacted by the owner that this property had a broken pipe, so she moved us to another that she owns. The new house was great. Very dog friendly. Close to the Polo grounds. The owner is very responsive. We would rent from her again.

House was OK communication with owners was not

House was OK neighborhood was was a little sketchy, neighbors dogs were loud and barked alot. The owners were difficult to get in touch with and we were waiting for hours to get access information we were about to book a hotel room because we didn't think we would ever get in. I rent alot of houses thru vrbo and have always had great experiences and have been a repeat renter with alot of the houses but I won't be returning to this one.

Great house, lightly decorated with lots of space

The house is very spacious and the backyard as well. We spend Thanksgiving weekend with friends and the rooms/bathrooms were just what we needed. The dining room table is small but the kitchen has an island and we were able to fit the party of 8 that we had. We cooked a lot and loved the grill in the backyard. Our daughter made use of the pool and hot tub, she had a blast. The neighborhood is very quiet and in case you forgot something there's stores nearby. We had a great time!
