We were in town for a memorial weekend for my dad. The house kind of looked as advertised—but once inside it was clad that the space was really outdated. The living room and kitchen are tiny and if there were more than 3 adults it would have been cramped for space. The stairs are steep and if you have dogs know that the backyard isn’t fenced in on two sides of the yard. The neighbors on either side are right next to you so make sure the blinds are closed. Any noise at all in the neighborhood will seep into the walls and you will hear it. The host was overall not as responsive as I would have liked—especially since we drove in through a snowstorm and was delayed in my arrival. I also didn’t like that I had legit questions for the host about checking out early and the host would respond with a message like “would you mind taking out the trash cans to the front of the house since it’s trash day.” I wouldn’t mind doing those things but it’s odd to respond with that when my question was can I check out early . The heating was also odd. It was cold downstairs which explains the space heater but hot upstairs with the heat on. Overall I would not stay here again it was more stress than it was worth for what is my only vacation of the year this year.
