Hotel is DIRECTLY across from Gainbridge Fieldhouse where the NCAA tournament was being played. This was AWESOME since that's why we were in town. If you're booking in March and NOT going to the games, consider this. It was a madhouse of families.
I was so surprised there were rooms left at all, so was happy to find two at this place that were reasonably priced.
Downside 1. They did not have the rooms we reserved ready at around 7:30 pm when we arrived. We were told it was an Expedia glitch and that it would be about an hour until our rooms were ready. After two separate complaints (first my husband, then a bit after from me) they said they could do one of the rooms then but that it would be a king room. This did not work for our group, but we needed to get checked in so we took it. The clerk wasn't even a bit apologetic. Had she expressed some sort of understanding that it was an inconvenience, it would have at least felt better.
The room was fine. Clean. The lighting: AWFUL. I expect downtown city hotels to have poor natural light, especially if I'm not booking a room with a view, but the actual lighting was just bad. The room was so dark.
