The location was right next to a busy street, very noisy with traffic, making it hard to fall asleep. A regular coffee pot would have been easier to use.

To open, great communication with the owner and pictures matched the home.Dislikes:First, the staircase railing is not to code and is dangerous when going up and down the stairs, as it is on the wrong wall and doesn't extend to the top of the steep staircase.Second, the carpeting may have been vacuumed but very noticeable dark, dirty, previously stained pet or other marks everywhere.Third, the pothole riddled street only amplified the already noisey 24/7 street noise as it echoed throughout this home. We live in the city and hear road noise all the time but this was outrageous. Maybe because the bones of this old home isn't insulated enough, especially upstairs.Fourth, you'd think the towels they would supply for this VRBO would kinda be newer, but they were paper thin with bleached out areas throughout the towels, and noticeably very old.Fifth, when using flatware, glasses and dishes, many had grime on them, but they have a dishwasher, so that didn't make sense.Sixth, Like the three little bears story, we tried every bed in the house in our three night stay that ended up only two nights, due to the sleep feel. Downstairs bed was the closest to comfortable but still rough. If you like a harder bed then this is the place for you.Beautiful pictures with large rooms and bathrooms....but still needs better attention, including the parking area and fence line with the non-closing broken gate for pets.

Review of stay

The home itself was very nice traffic on the road is a major challenge because I don’t sleep well with a lot of noise during the night. Loud cars could be blaring through other than that very nice home and well done. The only other thing I did not read the directions making sure you open Pipe going upstairs to the air conditioning upstairs will get hot during the day

Great Location

We have stayed in this house at Thanksgiving for two years now. It's in a convenient location, the host is accommodating, and the house is well equipped. The little fenced yard is perfect for our dogs.

Great access to Indy!

The house was clean and spacious. Having 3 full size bathrooms was great! Great access to down town Indy and with a gas station next door we always had hot coffee. Would definitely stay here again!!

Pink concert

Loved the house overall, location is great, little loud at night with street noise but not to bad. Able to walk to Lukas vs. Driving & paying to park. 1mile easy walk. Unfortunately the neighbors crabapple tree made a daily mess on back porch, had to keep porch umbrella up to keep from being beemed by an apple, but that's fall season. Would recommend & stay there again.

Golf trip

Place was great close to everything! Clean! Only thing we had an issue with was TV. Couldn’t get local channels to watch golf or football.

Roomy Property - Walkable to Lucas Oil Stadium

We enjoyed our stay at this property with 2 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs. There are 3 renovated bathrooms, 1 of them downstairs. There is also a nicely renovated kitchen. There is a backyard with a firepit which we did not have occasion to use. So, the space was great, and you can walk to the football stadium or easily Uber/Lyft to wherever you need to go. Reasonable distance from the airport. One thing to be aware of is that the house is on a busy street and there are traffic noises all night, as well as some loud music and voices from the convenience/gas station next door. This did not bother me but was a sleep-interrupter for some of our party. Our host was very responsive. Our only disappointment was with the Vrbo app. We received instructions from Vrbo 3 or 4 days out, and they said we would receive the house access code on the day of arrival. By the 4pm check-in time we had not received the code and could not reach the host through the app. The app said no reservation or trip was found, and accessing the host was blocked. My son found a way to work around this by contacting the host as if my son were a potential future renter, and that's how we reached the host for the access code! We connected outside the platform via text messages from there. The host was also having trouble with the app! So this could have been a disaster, and it was certainly frustrating and anxiety-provoking. We would stay again, but Vrbo needs to resolve their issues! GO COLTS!

Convention Center

Booked this house for its proximity to the convention center. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Even though we didn't use any of the extras, i would definitely stay again.
