We had a wonderful time. Home was spacious and cleaned with full kitchen and many unexpected amenities. The home was perfectly located to access all northern Michigan has to offer. Thanks for sharing your home. Would definitely stay here again or recommend to our friends and family.

This was our second stay at Sturgeon River Lodge and we enjoyed it even more. The house is in perfect shape with everything you might need. The owner is very responsive and great to work with. We highly recommend this great property on the Sturgeon River.

Fabulous Cabin on the Sturgeon River

We stayed at this lovely cabin for a little over a week. The check-in and check-out process was easy. Clear and detailed info was provided before arrival. They gave a lovely card and welcome gift. The place was clean and spacious. We definitely enjoyed the view of the water while sitting on the nice patio out back. We had little kiddos and it was nice that they had some games for the days we weren’t at the beach. This place feels secluded but is very conveniently located to shops, restaurants, and the beach. I would highly recommend this place to others!

This is a beautiful home. Some of the pictures do not do it justice. It was spotless and private. We had seven adults and a 1-year old. There was plenty of room inside and a large beautiful yard outside on the water. We brought kayaks and took the river down to the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and we stayed home and cooked just about every meal. The hosts were very easy to work with and answered any questions quickly. We were lucky enough to get our adult children and grandchildren all together for a long weekend and this was the perfect place. Everyone had a great time.

Wonderful house, great stay

Lazy Sturgeon is a beautiful, new 3 bedroom house with tons of space and great amenities. We sat on the back porch watching birds for hours, made dinner in the well-equipped kitchen, did puzzles and watched movies in the comfy living area. Beds were great, showers were hot. Getting in was easy, as was check-out. We will be back!

Deer Hunting 2024

Place was very clean, it has all the amenities we need for our stay. Great location, close to town and a great outdoor view of the river just feet away with a patio. 3rd time staying at this place and hope to stay again

Take a few for us girls weekend

We had the most wonderful time. The cabin was so clean, organized and had everything we could possibly want for our weekend stay. It was comfortable and private. The backyard fire area and river were just mesmerizing and so calming. We had the best best chats and laughs. Close to town but out on our own at the cabin. We had trails to walk, brew pubs to see , chocolate to eat and wind to have around a fire. Perfect.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home, peaceful & quiet. The river is so pretty. Very comfortable, lacking for nothing. Excellent communication. This would be a perfect house for a family -- large spaces, comfortable beds, great kitchen, nice laundry room. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Log cabin

The cabin was just as described with lots of amenities. Very comfortable bed (used 1st floor bedroom), great little porch for morning coffee and a lovely patio for our afternoon cocktail. The neighborhood was very quiet and made for a lovely morning walk.

Peaceful Log Cabin on the River

Cabin was just as described - very clean and well appointed. Chocolate covered cherries as a welcome gift was greatly appreciated! Beds were comfy. Outdoor space along the river is perfect - only regret was we didn’t break in the brand new solo stove fire pit! Plenty of seating for a group…lots of bird action along the river. Very relaxing. Won’t lie - you can hear traffic on I-75 when outside, but the sound of the river more than makes up For it!! Would highly recommend!

After wedding relaxation

My daughter’s wedding was in the area. After everything was done, we needed some rest! The cabin was in an excellent area, clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Hooks everywhere and plenty of storage. The fire pit beside the river was amazing. We will be staying again.
