"The dome itself was lovely and well situated on the water. The bed was uncomfortable, but the linens were clean. I was very disappointed in the facilities. I have no issues with using a pit toilet, however you must provide some running water for guests. The only way I was able to fill up water bottles was to ask the people at the lodge to go into the kitchen to fill my water bottles. I was also incredibly disgusted by the showers at Cabot Shores. "My husband and I had a wonderful couple of nights at Chanterelle. We stayed in a room in the main building. We loved the peacefulness of the place. It was such a relaxing place to stay. Breakfast was delicious! We booked dinner for the one evening. We were so glad we did. It was an 8 course meal. Every dish was excellent! Would recommend if you’re looking for peace and relaxation and excellent food!"
