"The town is cute, the area is cute. The property needs to be further along. The water in the kitchen has a bit of rust, but the adjacent bathroom the water was better, which we used.The beds were comfortable, the shower ok. No way to control the heat… needs window upgrades, holes in floors patched.The Vrbo app horribly difficult and frustrating, that definitely needs addressing."

"This roomy unit is located in a quiet neighborhood, near downtown and close to the two best parks in Salem. It takes up the entire second floor of a separate building from the main house. The weak link is the eating space, which is quite small but adequate for up to 2 people. The spacious deck above the alley looks out over back yards and a parking lot, but it feels very private. Overall, the unit is very comfortable and is quite a good value."

"Hawk's Nest is an absolute gem, we still can't believe our luck in finding it! Tracey and Aaron are so welcoming, as are Gia and Monty (the pups). The space is clean, bright and well laid out. The views at every turn are absolutely stunning. And you are on a winery with delicious wines, so you are winning in every way if you stay there. It was so great to be able to check out all the nearby wineries and then end the day with a yummy last glass right at home. The location is great for checking...

Close to town by car but serenely set up in the mountains, even had a deer visitor in the yard in the morning! Very clean and well maintained, excellent communication with host. "Mary's property is beautiful. My dog and I really enjoyed our visit to the area with the expansive views and plenty of good walking/hiking areas nearby. My only regret is that my dog isn't a good pickleball partner! Would have loved to play! We'll be back soon!"
