The theme of this house is “A Home Where Traveling Adults Gather Around a Fire.” The traditional hearth, discovered beneath the floor, has been given a modern twist. Centered around a hearth table designed for seated dining, the space exudes a sense of history.
This renovation was completed without using any modern building materials, reusing reclaimed wood from the traditional farmhouse as much as possible. It’s by no means a sparkling, pristine, or luxurious place, but it’s a space that lets your heart relax and unwind.
