"We did have some issues with the wifi and there was some dust in the bathroom, the faucets, sink/counter weren’t clean, cobwebs and dead bugs on the floor by the living room window and under the dehumidifier that I emptied. The dryer vent was full. Other than those things, it was ok."

"This property owner is non communicative with both guests and VRBO. They will eventually, at the last minute when prompted by vrbo, send check in instructions and say they expect a 5 star review. We would not feel safe traveling to this property (especially with children) without solid communication. All onus is placed on guests no matter the circumstances. This property owner knows that and works in those parameters. Cannot in good faith recommend this property or host."

"We took a chance to go to southern illinois because we never went to Shawnee forest. It was a lovely stay. The ybit was wonderful and set on a cliff above the Ohio river. Kitchen and bathroom were great. Great water pressure in shower. Back dwck was great to sit and relax at in the night time. Nice fire put out back. Was more a wonderful place to stay than doing acticities on site. We left to find adventured and activities nearby. It is set perfectly for short drives to the forest or...

"We had a great stay at Lazy Days Lodge! Allison was an amazing host — very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout the trip. The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable with plenty of room for everyone to relax after long days on the water. The location was perfect — easy access right off the highway and only about 5 minutes from the marina where we launched our boat, which made everything very convenient.
