Burgruine Schöllnstein

Here, peace and quiet come free of charge! The foundation walls date back to 1365; this small house with a historical background is part of a former castle complex. It’s situated higher than the rest of the houses in the village. The large castle wall is just a few minutes’ walk away. In front of the building is a small terrace that invites you to linger and let your mind wander—the small garden is essentially enclosed. Dogs are welcome; the neighboring property has a right of way. On the first floor, there is a shower/bathroom, a small staircase, and a kitchen-living room. The upper floor consists of a small walk-through room for luggage and a bedroom with two beds. It’s important to note that the stairs are somewhat steeper than other staircases, and the ceiling height in the room where the knights once lived is approximately 2 meters. Satellite TV is available in the living area and in the bedroom.
