Hi Suji thank you for leaving us a review. It looks like you cancelled due to thinking the yurts had a bathroom included inside them. When we update Expedia on our end it does show the option of listing the bathrooms as "outdoors" and not included inside. Unfortunately when Expedia displays the information it lists bathroom amenities like showers/shampoos included, but doesn't mention whether the restrooms are included inside or outside. It can be challenging to convey all the amenities and qualities of a specialty lodging unit like a yurt, we do encourage guests to visit our website for clearer details. We also added images of the separate bathhouse yurt guests use in the Expedia yurt listing. In addition, we had already refunded you for your stay due to the confusion. Again we encourage those looking to book yurts to visit our website to gain a clearer understanding of yurt lodging.

Hi Heather, thank you for your review. We are sorry your stay did not live up to your expectations. Our food service is closed in the off season due to limited staffing. We are open 8am-8pm with food & drink service Memorial Day to Labor Day. Limited bar service is available 4-6pm Thursdays and 4-9pm Fridays and Saturdays. We have the hours listed on our website and online. Yurts also do not have running water -we have a more limited ability to list amenities and explain specialty lodging like yurt camping on 3rd party sites. We advise potential guests to refer to our website for the most detailed information of what lodging amenities are included and what yurt lodging is like.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry your experience did not live up to your expectations. Our yurts offer a unique camping experience in the mountains, where as our fully-furnished cabins that we also have onsite offer more amenities and may have been a better option for a stay. We do our best to inform guests staying in the yurts that highway noise can impact their stay and offer free earplugs to help minimize the noise. We offer seasonal food and beverage through our onsite restaurant and bar which is open daily from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Because we're in the mountains we do also mention Wifi can vary on property.

Hi Laura, thanks for leaving us a review. Our bar is open seasonally and this time of year is closed most days ad only open in the evenings Thursdays - Saturdays. We have updated bar hours available on our website. We also run into issues with pipes freezing this time of year given there are days when the temperature can drop below 10 degrees. We act as quickly as we can to remedy any maintenance issues of that kind, but we never received a message form you during your stay about the shower not draining and only discovered it after you left. We do apologize for that inconvenience. For heating, we have standard baseboard heaters in our cabins and heat can be adjusted using the knobs on the sides of them. We hope you consider another stay with us in the future.

Hi Wellington, I'm sorry you had issues engaging with our front desk staff. I have spoken to the two staff members you interacted with and it seems the first front desk person you spoke to answered your question about confirming your reservation and that was all that was said. The second was one of our managers who monitors after hours calls and messages from guests on property to address any after hours emergencies since our main lodge closes at 6pm. He said you called 3 times asking about a coffee marker and where a local store was and he answered your questions, including letting you know the cabins do not come with coffee makers. However, we do have morning coffee service at our bar & grill. It is rare that we receive numerous messages from guests during their stay. Many book the fully-furnished cabin and explore the mountains skiing and doing other activities, so we try not to bother guests during their stay and provide for guests to the best of our ability. Especially when quests for items are made. We are better able to accommodate during the day, whereas after hours (after 6pm) staff and resources are more limited. We apologize for any inconveniences during your stay and appreciate your feedback.

We actually updated some of the content in our Lodging Agreement earlier today after we reviewed the text you sent with the exact same information you just posted. There had been a time many months ago when the amount of towels we were going through were dozens and dozens in a month's time. It became a serious issue of throwing away and having so many wasted that we had to make a note to guests in the agreement. We also provided dog towels, makeup towels, and colored towels to deter the amount of white towels stained and ruined. We haven't seen the same issue in recent times, so we no longer have mention of it in the agreement as it was updated today. We've never received a negative review based on our Lodging Agreement, which is otherwise pretty standard in laying out our policies with things like respecting other guests with quiet hours after 10pm and not smoking in the cabins. We do take guest feedback seriously, so again thank you for letting us know.

Unfortunately there is a line cook shortage, and being in a more isolated mountain region we've struggled finding consistent cooks, so we do show on Google My Business and our website that bar & grill is closed Sundays and Mondays. As soon as we have consistent staff we'll be able to operate that daily. As for the cabin layout, we've never had anyone remark on the layout -which is living room, then kitchen, then restroom and hallway to the bedroom. For the cleaning fee, we also make it clear on the website and our 3rd party platforms the cleaning fee of 25 is added to all cabin stays and is a standard fee.
