When you read Karen’s review you probably question, as I did of her, why the 4 star and not a 5 star rating. Her response, “I Actually gave you a 5 stars on everything except the overall so I was surprised to see it said 4. I’m sorry about that” Go Figure! I know she was upset that work was being done on the supports to our first-floor deck during her stay limiting her direct access to the beach. But that’s to be expected when you rent off season, that’s why its heavily discounted.

For sure we are thankful for Natachs’s feedback on the issues she discovered in our unit that our handyman was able to address after she and her friends checked out on Saturday including oiling the master bedroom slider to the deck making it slide much easier, fixing the back stove burner and calking the main bath shower to prevent a leak. I concluded from our communications that we were likely the age of her grandparents and like them, we enjoy oriental rugs, carpet in the bedrooms, and runners on the stairs and hallways. I think it’s a bit unfair that she dinged us a star on her rating because our tastes are a generation apart from hers, but she was an excellent guest, and we would welcome her back as she indicated for her next Cape Cod Vacation.

Susan was a great guest and we appreciate her comments. Plans are in place to change out the carpets which we hope to have in place for next season.

Floorcoverings updates were postponed due to the Corona Virus. Rescheduled for next season. Sorry, she couldn't give her experience a 5-star rating because of the Pool situation. However, the listing clearly states that pool available on weekends only in the offseason which is the main reason offseason rates are discounted 30%.

We appreciate the comments and the 5star rating. We agree that a few items, such as the wallpaper in the dining area protecting an adjacent wall from chair damage is a bit dated but it has served its purpose well. As noted we are focused on ensuring our guests have a most enjoyable vacation by offering a clean, comfortable, well furnished and well-equipped lodging as well as support for any of their needs.

Great guest hope they come back soon. They made being a landlord a real pleasure.

As the saying goes you can't please all the people all the time. We try to offer our guest a well equipt, clean and comfortable rental at a very reasonable price. Our unit rents for $600 to $700 less per week then fully updated updated beachfront units at the Yachtsman. Check it out. Our family often uses the unit and its decorated to our taste. Including the clown picture. We do some updating to keep the unit fresh and our prices reasonable for the 3 to 4 returning guests we get each year. For example this year we added a couple of new flat-screen TVs, a new air conditioner, new bunk beds and mattresses and refinished stairs. Simular upgrades are planed for next year.

A great guest with a very fair appraisal. As paul mentioned we some updates every year to keep the rental clean, comfortable, and well equipped while offering at a substantial saying to simular beachfront unit at the Yachtsman.

Garrett Cerulli was every landlord's dream of an Ideal Tenant. One member of his party had an accident which resulted in the need to replace a perfectly good bunk bed set because getting a replacement for the broken part was not an option. Mr. Cerulli called me immediately after the accident to report the incident. By doing so I was able to get a replacement set for the next tenant if they needed it. He agreed to pay the cost of the replacement set and because he was such a gentleman, and so forthright about the situation I agreed to pay the labor for my property manager to remove the old set and install the new Bunkbeds. I look forward to the Cerulli family returning to our property for their next Cape Cod Vacation.

Susan Jamison and her family took care of our beachfront home so for that reason, we would welcome her and her family back for their next Cape Cod Vacation. Susan experienced some minor problems that I was able to get corrected for her on a timely basis. Normally before the season begins we spend several weeks living in the unit making repairs and upgrades for our renters for the coming season. Unfortunately, due to a health issue we were not able to do that this year. I am grateful to Susan for pointing out these issues so that we could correct them for her family and future Guest.

Dear Tracy; You and your family were perfect guests. I am so happy you had a great vacation. Your right about the stairs like your mother, the wife and I are both in our mid-80s and we never notice the stairs because it's so enjoyable being there at our Oceanfront home and the convenience as well as the surrounding at the Yachtsman.

We were pleased, like most of our USA guest give or Beach front vacation home a 5 star rating our first guest from Germany, the Jurgens did the same.

Kim and her family were ideal guest that appreciated the real value that our beach front home at the Yachtsman offers to Cape Cod Vacationeers. We are looking forward to their return soon. We will be updating the areas that Kim suggested for the 2020 season.

Glad our guest thought our beach front home was perfect for what she needed. Each year we do some updating. Last year it was all new Living room furniture. The year before that the powder room. Before that new hardwood flooring on the landings and hallways. For the 2020 season plans are in place to update the master bedroom bath. We take it one project at a time. That way we are able to offer our guest substancial cost savings over Comperable beach front units at the Yachtsman that have new granit countertops and new stainless steel appliances but not any more conforable, nor cleaner nor better equiped than our unit are renting $600 to $700 more per week then we ask. Check it out. Sorry about the shells on the beach. I should have told the guest that a few steps to the right of the complex there is a public beach with absolutely great Sand on the beach. No beach shoes needed there.

These were great guests. It is a shame that they had bad weather all week and could not give their stay a 5-star rating.

All new furniture for the living room, including 2 new couches were purchased in mid June, however the store was out of stock and they needed to be factory ordered. They have recently been delivered to the store in Yarmouth and will be installed in our Beach Front Home as soon as we return to the unit. The powder room has been updated and we will take under advisement the comments on the other Bathrooms.
