Fabulous location & very clean - just not worth the steep price (school holidays). It’s a great property & beautifully “styled”, just a lot of basic stuff was not fitting the bill - BBQ totally corroded on the inside, no salt to be found, no working garlic press, fry pans were all crap, no hairdryer, 80s bathrooms with superficial facelifts, balcony paint peeling , rusted furniture, bins overflowing on arrival - little things that add up to a lot when you are paying 3.5 stars

We found the house comfortable overall and suitable for an extended family. Don’t think the quality overall came up to the cost for a 4 night stay

Beautiful and peaceful place to spend quality time with family

Very comfortable and decent house, plenty of space for everyone. We liked the sea view from the upstairs lounge. Great bedrooms size. We loved the downstairs lounge with wooden fireplace, my dog had the best time there . Waking down to the beach with nice cup of coffee from the local Cafe was a bonus. I definitely recond this place for relaxation Salma from Sydney July 2022

Peaceful and co

Akora comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults and two children. The house was spacious, clean and adequately provided for. There were, however, some notable omissions/problems such as a functioning washing machine, extra blankets to cater for a cold spell, tea towel, oven glove and directions on how to operated the oven (given that the oven settings had long been erased). The lock in the upstairs bathroom was faulty and one of the children was locked in for a short time until we managed to free her. Despite this, we would stay there again.

Be careful! Read the reviews.

This property was covered in mold to the point that the covers on the cushions were damp and black. While I understand that it has been wet recently it was very clear that the house was not cleaned before our stay. The smell when you walked in was gross. We left the property early with damaged belongings. After contact with the manager of the property we were refused any sort of refund. As mentioned by previous vacationers the lack of care from the owners has left us with no option to take this further.

Wonderful view

We really enjoyed the beach and it was the perfect location to the cafe and beach. It rained the entire stay, so being so close was definitely a plus.

Damaged Car

Due to the fact there the owner did not surface the driveway properly the underneath of my car was badly damaged during my stay at this property. I’ve been in contact with the owner to try resolve the matter but he has not accepted responsibility. Extremely disappointing. I will be taking this matter further.

Location, Customer Service, Presentation - 5 stars

Myself and a couple of friends booked for this beautiful home for a week over the new year - it was a fantastic location only a short stroll to the beach and cafe, well presented property in clean and tidy condition, well styled with immaculate presentation, we had very little to complain about. There was one maintenance item which was addressed in less that 12 hours by the agency, which was greatly appreciated and they provided great service from other encounters throughout our stay. Unfortunately, we stayed throughout the period where the bush fires were quite close resulting in having to end our stay 1 night early. The agency were very accommodating and rewarded us a refund of 1 nights stay - we have taken this opportunity to donate the nights stay to those effected by the fires - we would like to thank the agency for the opportunity and the landlords for sharing their home with us. 110% would consider booking again in the future - highly recommend.
