In 2024, we embarked on a journey to create something truly special—a home in the timeless village of Zaraće, where our roots run deep. Our goal was clear: to build a house that would honor the past while embracing the comforts of modern living. We wanted to tread lightly on the history of Zaraće, preserving its essence while introducing contemporary elements that would enhance the living experience. And so, we set out to create a perfect harmony of old and new.
As the warm sun bathed the picturesque landscape of Zaraće in golden light, we began to bring our vision to life. The exterior of our home tells a story of heritage and resilience, crafted from rocks sourced from the remnants of an old, abandoned house that once stood on the same plot of land. Each stone carries with it the echoes of bygone days, a tangible link to the past that now forms the very foundation of our new home.
The Space
Villa Father's Heart is thoughtfully designed to offer both comfort and functionality. Spanning multiple levels, its layout ensures ample space for relaxation and enjoyment:
The ground floor features a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen with modern utensils, and a bedroom with a luxurious matrimonial bed (180 x 200 cm) and an en-suite bathroom. This 50 m² space also includes cozy seating, a smart TV, an A/C system, and a charming fireplace for added comfort. The first floor boasts a master bedroom with a matrimonial bed (180 x 200 cm) and an en-suite bathroom. This cozy 40 m² sanctuary also includes a working table, an A/C system, and windows that frame stunning views of the Adriatic Sea and surrounding landscape. In addition, the property includes a small house located at the entrance of the complex. This 9 m² space provides a third bedroom with its own bathroom and A/C system, offering guests additional privacy and convenience.
Outdoor Spaces
The outdoor areas of Villa Father's Heart are designed to immerse guests in the natural beauty of the Mediterranean.
The patio, spanning 15 m², is the ideal spot for al fresco dining. Equipped with a wood-fired oven, a small 3x2 pool, two sunbeds, a large umbrella, and a dining area for five people, it offers a perfect blend of relaxation and functionality. The yard, covering 21 m², features a lounge area with comfortable sunbeds positioned next to an old well. This serene space opens to breathtaking views of the open sea, evoking the sensation of being aboard a ship gently sailing across azure waters.

To complete the experience, Villa Father's Heart includes a private pool measuring 6 m² perfect for cooling off under the warm Mediterranean sun.
