"Only stayed for 1 night. We got to the property late and we self checked in, we were left forms for breakfast and filled them in. Beds were comfortable, owners were lovely and breakfast great. All around good stay!"

"Very nice cottage in an ideal location. Beautiful views across to Mell Fell. The cottage was as described, if I’m being critical, the cottage felt a little tired and would have been nice if there was some heat on in the cottage on arrival or at least some kindling to light the fire. The previous travellers had left some logs and firelighters which were useful."

"Excellent accommodation, spotlessly clean, fully equipped kitchen (everything you could possibly need). It was like a home from home. The only slight negative was that the beds were very soft, but that's just personal preference. Whitbarrow village itself was very well maintained with a lovely bar/restaurant area. "What a lovely hotel with such good energy. There’s a serenity to this place. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities from a swim in the pool, hot sauna, hanging out in the terrace and dinner at The Living Space. The property itself is beautifully designed. A place to stroll and soak in the peacefulness. After dinner I took such a stroll and while everyone else was dining I was able to spend some time on the tree swings by myself. "Delightful visit to The George and Dragon! Friendly and obliging staff, great pub, room and breakfast. Rooms renovated to a high standard and beautifully furnished. Loved the windows which could be opened to cool the room and bonus bath to relax in. Friendly bar staff when we had a drink in the pub before bed and lovely lady served us at breakfast. Really impressed and highly recommend a stay. 10/10"

"I liked the hotel and the staff were lovely. The food in the restaurant was particularly good. The reason I gave a poor review rating overall was because the fire alarm went off at 12:50 am and then rang intermittently for 45 minutes because apparently the Staff could not override a fault on the control panel or something like that.
