Cottage Near Zion Hiking, Biking and other Fun! Great Central Location.

  • This tiny home is a clean, fun little cottage that makes the perfect home base for your hiking or biking trip to southern Utah. It has one bedroom and one bathroom. The space is small but cozy. (People taller than 6'3" will be at risk of hitting their head on one of the archways.) This home started out, generations ago, as a cabin for the Park Rangers of Zion National Park. In the 90's it was physically moved to Hurricane, Ut where it served as a vacation home for an elderly couple for many years. In early 2017 it officially opened as a vacation rental where, for the first time in decades, you can stay in one of these historic Ranger Cabins. The outside is still original but the inside has been totally remodeled.

Perfect choice for visiting Zion and beyond

We loved our stay at this comfortable cottage. It had everything we needed- plentiful towels, comfy blankets and bed, convenient kitchen, comfortable living room with a great TV - and was only a few minutes from great restaurants and most important, Zion National Park. Highly recommend.

Great quiet cottage

Wonderful little cottage with everything you need for a great stay. Near to the nature, plenty of info and help avaliable from the hosts, and plenty of amenities. Make sure you use the fireplace in the winter! It's a fun a great cabin and we would recommend it to anyone

Great place

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this cottage in Hurricane UT. We spent a couple days exploring Zion and it was great to have this very comfortable place to come back to and relax.

Awesome place to stay, very peaceful. The only complaint is there’s an overgrown tree that extends to the roof and on the roof. Very noisy and hard to sleep when the wind blows

Very Nice Stay

Perfect place to stay

We stayed in Hurricane for a week and could not have enjoyed it more. The location is private, and the cottage and amenities are wonderful. We had zero complaints and highly recommend

Sweet little cabin

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the historic ranger cabin! It was perfect for our anniversary getaway. We hiked the surrounding areas for three days. It was fantastic!

Quaint home away from home

Great quiet spot with easy access to many great areas. Really enjoyed coming "home" to this quiet location - love the history of this little home. Addition of wine glasses would be a great addition to the many amenities provided.

Super tiny and adorable

This cottage looks bigger on the inside but fit us perfectly. I wouldn’t recommend for groups of more than 2 but is such a cozy experience and in such a great location. We were less than 30 minutes from all our planned activities. Overall, really great communication from the owner and super easy instructions to follow. We loved our stay.

Wonderful stay at gates of Zion

We loved the cottage. It was a wonderful home to us during our stay at the gates of Zion NP. From there it is a 30 minutes drive to the park. The cottage was in fact better than the pictures and offered everything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable. Yes, the bathroom is tiny but that was no problem to us. The shower was perfect and had super quickly hot water and enough pressure.

The cabin was super cute. Love the history! It was perfect for our first time to the area. Love that there was room to store our bikes inside, and the cabin had everything we needed.

Zion Trip Hurricane Stay

Hiking base

Stayed at the "cabin" for about 4 weeks while hiking in the area. Very convenient to Zion as well as all the trails in this area. Owner very gracious and quick to respond to any questions; provided good tips for things to do.

Perfect!

This Cottage Near Zion was the perfect place for us to base out of to explore Zion and Bryce. It was so quiet, a relief after a day around the crowds of people in the park! The information in the Cottage information manual were very concise and helpful. The accomodations were perfect, comfortable, clean, and a great home away from home!

Very nice little house!

Perfect for a family of 3 or 4. Perfect size place to enjoy a BBQ or the outdoors . It is very convenient to Zion National Park too! We had a wonderful time. Jed is a great host and is very responsive . We would definitely do it again!
