Wonderful stay with a beautiful view!!

A must stay if you're in the area. This property is very welcoming, clean, well stocked and everyone had a great time! Fun things for the kids and adults to stay entertained the whole time. Relaxing by the water is fantastic! This place is in the perfect location with just a short drive to some really cool and entertaining things for all ages.

Lake house trip

Our family enjoys an annual trip to Lake Erie. This house is wonderful for a large group. Checkin and Check out is very easy and the house is well maintained and Ted and Heather are very easy to work with. Can’t wait to for our next summer stay.

3RD YEAR AT THIS LOCATION

This was the 3rd year for our group at Ted's place on the shores of Lake Erie, so suffice to say, we love this place. Once again this year we had a great time. The fall weather could not have been more beautiful which made the setting so peaceful. Although, the golf shots we tried to execute left something to be desired, but what can we expect from a group of guys at the age of 74. Thanks again Ted and Heather for another stay which culminated with lasting memories.

Good Views!!

I, my daughters and granddaughters stayed for the weekend. There was a total of 7 women and our little dog and plenty of room for all. Shortly after we arrived, we saw a double rainbow over the lake through the great view from inside. The bedroom downstairs is a plus for those who need one level. We could not regulate the thermostat for heat and reached out via text. They responded right away and someone was there within an hour. It was a fun time and in a great location.

Lake Erie Family Vacation

Property was great for our group, which included adults, teens, and dogs! House had everything that we needed. Location is very close to Sandusky and having a house right on the lake was amazing! Would recommend this property!

Family fun

Beautiful location and great amenities! Although the outside of the property, including patio furniture, was covered in bugs and crawling with spiders, we realized that comes with the proximity to the lake. We simply didn’t use the outside furniture and enjoyed every moment.

Spacious

We would definitely stay again. It was spacious and roomy for 8 people and each had their own bed, bathroom and space. The view was fantastic! The games provided were a hit. However, the price was a bit much and the furniture was not the most comfortable. But overall, we could feel at home for a few days.

Family Stay

We had a family vacation with our adult children and their spouses. We were so happy that the place was pet-friendly, since we brought our dog. It was so clean and there was so much room! I would recommend black out shades on the windows, because it gets really sunny and bright in the morning. I was disappointed that I had to look at the neighbors "Trump 2024" flag, but I forced myself to look at the beautiful lake instead.

Thanksgiving trip

The view is outstanding! I loved falling asleep looking at and listening to the water. The house is clean and not cluttered. The beds are comfortable and the pool table was great for games with our teens. The location allows for easy trips into town- we found a yummy taco place and brought food home one night. The kitchen could benefit from more mixing bowls and baking trays. If there is something specific you want to cook you may want to bring the cookware needed with you. Permanent neighbor to the right has several dogs so if you bring yours- like we did- expect some friendly barking to ensue. Communication with the property manager over a slight issue was handled promptly.

ANOTHER RELAXING STAY

This was our second year in a row at 24 Silvern, and like last year we had a very enjoyable and relaxing time. We are 7 guys who went from kindergarten to graduation as seniors at Fremont St. Joe and have been getting together in September for 23 years. We are all in our 70's now and since we are all from the northern Ohio area we have decided that we are going to stay closer to home for our get together rather than travel long distances. We feel very fortunate to have discovered Ted's property on the shores of Lake Erie. There is something special about being right on the water. Ted is just a great host and makes sure you will enjoy your time at his place. His property manager Heather lives right next door and is very accessible to any needs our questions that may arise. Our coffee maker quit working the second day there and that afternoon Heather's husband brought us a new one. If you are considering a stay on the north coast of Ohio I highly recommend Ted's vacation home. Thanks Ted and Heather.
